My grandfather Luke Partlon was a son of William Partlon a Farmer and Ann O'Neill. He was born circa 1851. in Mullingar. He came to Australia in approx. 1884.I have never found any shipping records so I'm assuming he was a steerage passenger. He settled in Lidcombe NSW . Also living in the same suburb was Patrick Partlon(1858-1923) and he had a sister Mary (1862-1926).Living in Western Australia were William Partlon (circa1864) and his brother Christopher (circa1867)These men's children all regarded themselves as cousins. Is there anyone over there in Ireland who can show me the details of how they are connected. All I have is heresay and I cannot prove that all these Partlons that came to Australia were all siblings with the same father but different mothers.

Hi, I cannot find a birth/Baptism record for Luke.
This is James....same parents. Also listed is Christopher looks like he is a cousin.

Hello Margot,
Thank you very much for doing this search on my grandfather Luke Partlon.
I had no idea that he had a brother James who had gone to America. I had noticed however that there were a lot of Partlons over there.
I couldn't find that record for William Partland's parents being William and Anne Neill
.It's just not making sense to me as the William that I have down for the same date 18-5-1853 has his mother as McGrath
Once again, thank you and I shall keep on plugging away and one day. it will all hopefully fall into place for me.
