I am searching for information on Margaret Reddington and James Silk parents. Margaret was b: 1819 Ireland, Andrew Silk in 1809 Ireland. They were married on May 6 1841 Loughrea Galway. They had 11 children, 2 of which were baptised in Carrabane Co. Galway. John June 17 1842 and Margaret about 1846. They arrived here around 1849 and lived in Bennington VT and settled in NY.

Hopeing someone my know soming about this family.

    I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and located the marriage record and the 1842 baptismal record for John Silk but did not locate a record for Margaret. Here is a link to the Carrabane parish register  https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0329

    I searched for a baptismal record for Andrew Silk but did not locate a record. I did locate a September 8 1820 baptismal record ( born September 2) for a Margaret Reddington in Loughrea RC parish father Peter Reddington and mother Catherine McGuigan.
