I have searched for a marrige but unable to find one can any one help

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and was not able to locate a Doyle/Lucas marriage in Co. Carlow 1806 or earlier. There are 14 RC parishes in Co. Carlow and 6 of them have marriage records starting after 1806. My guess is that Elizabeth Lucas came from one of those 6 RC parishes and the record is not available.
