I have found a death record for Patrick McDonald from Swanlibar, 56 years, baker, bachelor who died 25.2.1919 in the Bawnboy Workhouse of acute nephritis.
Is there any way to find more information regarding Patrick's time in the workhouse [admission dates, family information] ?
The surviving records for Bawnboy appear to be in Cavan library. Not sure if they still have the admission records which is what you really need. Contact the library anyway. More details here:
