Hi, I would be appreciative of any help re the following. I noted on the site Boston College:America. Information wanted. A database of advertisments for Irish Immigrants published in the Boston Pilot. It states John Fitzgerald, Kilkenny 1854 Seeker Julia Ryan (Sister). Patrick Fitzgerald 1854 Kilkenny Seeker Julia Ryan (Fitzgerald) Sister. Terence Fitzgerald Kilkenny 1854 Seeker Julia Ryan (Fitzgerald) Sister. And Thomas Fitzgerald Kilkenny 1854 Seeker Julia Ryan (Fitzgerald) Sister. I do know that Julia Fitzgerald married a Thomas Ryan but where I don't know or how many childen they had with the exception of Mary Ryan born in Nenagh County Tipperary. Thomas was a Farmer and the family Catholic. Mary married in Australia and died in NZ. Just hoping to find information on the Fitzgerald side. Many thanks
Kind regards
Glenda

Glenda:
Since Mary Ryan was born in 1840, I would assume her mother Julia was born 1820 or earlier. I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and there are no Co. Kilkenny baptismal records for a Julia Fitzgerald around 1820. I also searched for Terence since his name is not common and again, there are no baptismal records in Kilkenny. Likely they were baptized in a parish that has records starting in the 1820s or later. There are a number of parishes with records starting1820s or later.
I also did not find a Julia Fitzgerald/Thomas Ryan marriage to a Ryan anywhere in Ireland.
Have you considered DNA testing?

Hi Roger, Thanks so much for trying your best. Just a shame that on Mary Malloy nee Ryans marriage and death cert it never stated where in County Tipperary she hailed from. Mary married in Australia and died in NZ.Yes I intend to do a DNA.
Thanks again
