Hello I am busy doing my family tree and I am looking for the brady family from louth lodge My grandad and grandma lived there in 1941 where they had my dad and his siblings. My grandparents have sadly passed away so as my dad so I have got no one to ask really for information. I have done so well on my grandma side I know she was cunningham and her mum was a Reddington and they where raftery to. But my grandad James Brady I don't have and information really apart from he was a twin and had another sibling and sadly his mum passed away in child birth and his father put the in a orphanage and was never since again. Hopefully someone could help and point me in the right direction Thank you

    Your grandparents were married in Dublin in 1940. See fourth record at this link. The names of the fathers of the bride and groom were listed on the record. I located this record on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie

    Currently, the site mentioned above only has civil birth records thru 1920 (1921 records will be added in the near future) so we can't find records for your father.

    You may be able to find the birth record for James Brady and his twin since you know his father was Joseph Brady.

    I have found a death certificate for a James brady and a Thomas brady mother and it say that the mother was a Catherine Larkin and a Francis Brady was his father and a baptism record for a Bridget cunningham and it say father Michael cunningham and mother Mary reddington so I am really struggling
    But I had all though that pat cunningham was her father so really struggling
