I am researching our family history from Ireland to Australia, Ellen CASEY (1834) arrived in Sydney NSW on 13 Feb 1849. She later married John McKendry (McHenery) in 1855 and the McKendry family continued in Castlemaine, Victoria. Seeking any information about Ellen CASEY. Her father was John Casey and her mother was Ellen Flynn.

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find a marriage record for John Casey and Ellen Flynn anywhere in Ireland. I also did not find a baptismal record for Ellen Casey. The only lead I located was a September 21 1843 baptismal record for a Margaret Casey with parents John Casey and Ellen Flynn. The baptism was in the Cloyne RC parish in Co. Cork. Cloyne records go way back but I notice there is an 18 mont gap in records for 1832 and part of 1833. https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0035

A public tree on ancestry.com claims that Ellen Casey McHendry was born in Loughrea, Co. Galway, according to the 1864 birth record of her daughter Ellen McHendry. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of this, but the person who posted this seems to have done some thorough research.
