Summerhill poperty near Mallow circa 1850s

Hi Betty, You ask was it an Estate,  I gather it probably was and that thgey were landlords with Tenants, Will try and find more on this for you.

There is amazing material on line on this couple and their families, they had an amazing amount of property, 

Its a very interesting story.

Betty, if you Google  Talbot and McCausland divorce  1856 you will find the material.

I tried to look them up  on Griffiths Valuation circa 1850s  Found two Richard Talbots only in Co Cork. www.askaboutireland.ie

It would not give me any more information today. I feel Its been updated, so will work another day.

In the Tithes circa late 1820s it only gave list of enumerators a Richard Talbot mentioned.
