Hi. I'm researching Mary Catherine Caddle, born @1816 in Mullingar Westmeath. She was convicted of house robbery on 21st October 1836 and transported to Australia 1837. hoping to find some information on the trial and her family. anything really.

Further information on Mary Caddle who adopted the name Catherine in Australia. No birth records found in Mullingar for a Mary or Catherine Caddle 1816/1817. There are records in Valleymount in County Wicklow and Lusk in County Dublin for those years.
Married William Pawley April 5th 1818 - Maitland.
Apparently her request to marry in 1837 was not granted, due to the fact that there was no record of a Catherine Caddle on the ship Margaret.
