I do not know if there is any help available. My 3-great-grandmother Margaret Drew arrived in Sydney Australia on 27 February 1835 as an orphaned irish girl aboard the "Duchess of Northumberland". Her bounty immigrant form states she was 17 born c1818 - parents unknown. On all certificates pertaining to her life she states she was born in Cork. Does anyone know where I may??? find out more. Thank you.

Hi,
Subscription site www.rootsirelandie has a number of records of "Margaret Drew" in Limerick and Tipperary 1818- 1820.
There were quite a number of passengers who were described as "Emigrants" and taken on board in Cork. She might not be native of County Cork? The ship had come from London via Dublin.
