Dear Ireland XO members,
The origin of my 3xGGrandmother (H)Anna Moore and her parents are a current 'brick wall' for my research. I'm hoping someone may be able to help.
I'm attaching a couple of files that demonstrate some of my research to date and can provide extracts from the books mentioned. It seems that (H)Anna may have been left as a 'foundling' at one of the Workhouses in Cork, but I haven't been able to establish this.
I live in Sydney, Australia.

It might help you to do a name search for Moore on historicgraves.com https://historicgraves.com/graves-search?field_name1_value_1=&field_sur…;
This is a digitiseed collection of Irish graveyards (currently incomplete but being added to all the time). There are a lot of Moores logged. Perhaps if you cross check dates and names of parents or children also visible on the grave markers, it may help you to hone in on a correct family.
Not the neatest way of going about it but you never know what you might discover!
