Patrick Lynch was born in County Meath on 07/07/1777. He died in 1862 in Cedarburg, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, He was married to Catherine Donelly about 1807 in Ireland. They are my 3rd great grandparents.
Patrick and Catherine had six children, all born in Ireland: Edward (1808); Margaret (1810); Nicholas (1817); Mathew Arthur (1822); Catherine (1822); and Patrick (1828).
The family emigrated in 1840 and settled in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
I am searching for his townland.
Thank you for your help.

Janet:
I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find the marriage record or the baptismal records for the children. There are fifteen RC parishes in Co. Meath which have records starting 1830 or later so likely the Lynch's were members of one of those parishes.
Have you considered DNA testing? Possibly you will have matches with others who have Lynch connections in Co. Meath.

Thank you, Roger, I'll keep working on it. By the way, I have ancestors from Fuerty, Roscommon. Mathew (aka Matheus Gorrrick) Garrick (b 1801) married Bridget Curley 1825. Their son, Thomas Garrick, married Catherine Rooney (I think Sligo) and their daughter, Agnes, married Joseph Lynch. I'm working on all of this but, of course, I haven't found a Townland for Patrick Lynch.
Thank you,
