Hello, I'm a descendant of John Connellan (becoming Conlon) born in Lisroe, Parish of Kilmaley in around 1832. I have been unable to find his baptism record but his parents were Patrick Connellan and Mary Gallagher.
He had a brother, Peter Connellan, baptised 5th February 1832 sponsors Peter Campbell and Honor Pindar. I am searching for any of his descendants.
It is possible this Peter Connellan married Mary Meehan in 1861 and fathered two possible children Bridget (born 1863) and Mary (born 1866).
Other siblings, including John Connellan immigrated to Melbourne in the 1850/60s - Honora, Bridget and Michael, all eventually becoming Conlon in spelling.
There was also a sister Mary Connellan (Baptism 13th August 1834) who I'm unsure what happened to her and am looking for leads.
I'd be most grateful for any assistance!
Cheers, Paul Selar.

Paul:
If you have not reviewed the parish register for Kilmaley, here is a link to the register which has baptisms starting in 1828. https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0796
Kilmaley baptismal records are not on Roots Ireland but there are available on findmypast.ie and possibly Ancestry.
In addition to Mary, I did find a March 1 1841 baptismal record for a Bridget Conlon with father Patrick Conlon and mother Mary Galleher.
Patrick Connellan died September 25 1865. Informant was Michael Connellan householder per Roots Ireland. Mary died November 25 1866. Informant was Patrick Connellan. NOTE both deaths were in Lisroe. It is possible there were other Patrick and Mary Connellans in Lisroe.

Hello Roger, thank you for your prompt reply. I have the Kilmaley Baptism registers but I was intrigued by the deaths of Patrick and Mary Connellan in 1865/66. I did not see these listed in the Civil Records on the Irish Geneoloy website. Does the Roots Ireland website have much more information and records?
I don't suppose there are any leads on Peter Connellan born 1832. Even though I had a baptism record I'd love to find out it he married or died in Clare or immigrated. Thanks again for your help. Cheers, Paul.

Paul:
The free site www.irishgenealogy.ie has death record images from 1871-1971. For 1864-1870, only index records are available which show the age of the deceased but no other useful info. For certain counties, Roots Ireland has civil record info including death data. Co. Clare was one of those counties so I was able to find the records for Patrick and Mary. The one qualifier is that there may have been other Patrick and Mary Connellans in Lisroe who were around the same age.
We don't know when www.irishgenealogy.ie is going to add the images for 1864-1870 deaths. We keep expecting the records but so far they have not been updated.
There is a Peter Conlon who married Anne Carney in 1872 (see second record) He might be too young but his father was Patrick.
