I am trying to link my Foley family origins up to Ireland I have limited information I know my  great great grandfather was Jeremiah Foley died before 1873  and was married to Julie Sulivan and lived in County Cork their son my great grand father eas Patrick Foley married to Mary Donovan. He was born in Kilkoe County Cork around 1846 and at some stage immigrated to Northam Western Australia and died on the 28 October 1900 in Northam. They had my Grand Mother Catherine Frances Foley in 1894  in Northam she went on to marry my Grand Father Matthew Morley from the Chittering Valley West Australia  and they had two daughters my Aunty Carmen and my mother Ethne. Catherine Morley nee Foley  died in East Guildford a suburb of Perth West Australia on the 24 April 1944 . While I have been able to follow up on the Morley, Spice and Clune families who all immigrated and settled down in the Chittering Valley just north of Perth in West Australia I cannot seem to get any traction on the foleys further back than Jeremiah.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated

The subscription site Roots Ireland has a February 4 1840 marriage in the Kanturk RC parish between Jeremiah Foley and Julia Sullivan. Witnesses were Michael Sullivan and Catherine Sullivan

The only baptismal record I can locate was on August 26 1849 in Kanturk for a Johanna Foley with father Jeremiah and mother Julia Sullivan.

You may want to scan the parish register to see if Roots Ireland missed some records for your family. It is also possible the priest(s) was not a good recordkeeper and did not add some of the baptisms to the register. https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0063

The only Patrick Foley marriage I found was a Patrick Foley Ellen Donovan marriage in Lisgoold on February 9 1864. I checked the related civil record and this is a different Patrick Foley.

Let me know if you have any questions.
