I am from Canada and visiting Limerick on June 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 

My great great grandfather James Boyle is from Limerick.  I have traced the baptismal record of my great grandmother (his daughter), Honora Boyle Doyle to Saint Micheals on Nov 28 1845.  She and her sister show up in census records for Kensington, London in 1871 and she married John Doyle there in 1875.  Their son James Doyle moved to Canada in 1907.  On Honora's marriage certificate it says her father James is a reporter.  

Is there any way of discovering anything he may have written or what happened to him?  

I will visit St Micheal's church when I am there.

    There were a number of "James Boyle" in Limerick in the 1840's. What was his wife's name.

    There are some public trees on Ancestry that include your Honora Boyle Doyle.; But they give a different baptism date for her, as follows:

    Honora Boyle
    Baptism: 08-Apr-1847
    RC Parish of MANISTER
    Co. Limerick

    Father: James Boyle
    Mother: Janett Croker
    Sponsors:
    Jna Croker, John Hartigan

    Have you found the correct Honora in Ireland? Are the public trees wrong? (They often are.)
