Tadhg an Asna O'Donovan

Shw mae/ Dia dhuit,/ Hello.  For years I heard that my O'Donovan family, from West Cork, were descended from the family of the 1798 United Irishmen Rebellion leader in West Corcaigh, Tadhg an Asna.  These sories were plentiful, here in Cymru (Wales) and amongst the family in Tullig, Leap, Eireann.  Unfortunately, I never had the presence of mind, to ask the precise details of our relationship.  Now at the tender age 0f 66, there is nobody left with that knowlege, either in Cymru or Eireann, so I am appealing for anyone in a similar position, to respond.
