Good morning,
Having spent many years searching for the parents and baptism of my great great grandfather Martin May(e) , I found a baptism record for him in Roscommon.
I knew from his marriage record his father was John May(e).
I found a baptism for him in 1834 with parents John May and Mary Tansy. I tried to find a marriage for John and Mary but am only finding John and Bridget.
Martin married Bridget Ansboro/Hanboro (father Pat Ansboro/Hansboro) in County Mayo he was resident in Quarryfield Co Sligo Bridget resident in County Mayo
I was wondering if anyone could help with Tansy name/family?
If anyone knows where I could find Bridget Ansboro parents/baptism it would be amazing

Martin was baptized March 8 1836 in Croghan RC parish. The oldest sibling was Eleanor baptized April 22 1828. Possibly the 1823 marriage is the same couple but there are no children between 1823 and 1828 which seems unusual.
The RC baptismal records for Croghan start in 1811. We don't know if Mary Tansy was very young when she married. There were three Mary Tansy baptismal records in Croghan in 1812.
February 12 1812 Croghan Mary Tansy father Thomas Tansy mother Catherine Mannion
March 23 1812 Croghan Mary Anne Tansy father Thaomas Tansy mother Brigid Giblin
April 23 1812 baptismal record for a Mary Tansy in Croghan with father Patrick Tansy mother Bridget Beirne
We know that Bridget Ansbro was married in the Charlestown RC parish and from the civil marriage record, her father was Pat. There are no Bridget Ansbro baptismal records in Charlestown parish.

Is Elfin far from Croughan? as there appears to be other May(e) children baptised there with John and Mary
I would be so happy to just know who Martin's mum was and find a way to confirm it.
I know Martin died in Roosky Co. Mayo in 1891
