I wonder if anyone can help with some local knowledge
My 2x great grand uncle Thomas McEntee was married in Drumconrath Meath to Anne McCormick in 1878.
He gives his place of residence as Mullinaclavin. I have tried to Google Mullinaclavin to find the location but the only thing coming up is a story written by a student at Laragh School about a local hero called Thomas Coleman of Mullinaclavin County Monaghan who carried a forty stone sack of oats up steps to a loft in Kingscourt!

'Mullinaclavin' is a variant of the townland named Mullantlavan in Magheraclone civil parish - the placename database Logainm.ie lists 'Mullinaclavin' as one of a number of alternate spellings discovered of the townland name.
Magheracloone and Drumconrath Catholic & civil parishes are adjacent and have parts of their common border along the Meath/Monaghan county border - the area is also close to the border with county Cavan.

Thank you both very much for your replies! This has confirmed the bit of knowledge I had already.
Patricia thank you for looking up the baptismal record for Thomas, my 2x ggrandfather Patrick and 2x ggrand aunt Ellen were also baptised there.
