Relatives found in Cloondarone, Tuam, County Gallway

I just got back from visiting Ireland with a group Music Tour and then stayed to meet up with one of Ireland XO's volunteer, Ger Naughton, who has been working with me since 2018 to locate information on my Grandparents who emigrated in early 1900 to USA.  What a wonderful happening!!  Ger collected me from my B&B and we went into Cloondarone, Tuam County Galway.  We were able to visit gravesites of my Great Grandfather and his siblings.  We went into the area where they had lived and met up with 3 cousins, Martin, Andrew and Mary.  We did not do this by plan--we did this with phone calls and knocking on doors.  What a thill!!!  We only touched the Farrell side - the Donohoe side is next!!  I definitely will be returning to Ireland (because I love it) but also to pursue more information about my family.

I wholeheartedly recommend and urge anyone who has roots in Ireland to contact  Ireland XO!!!  What a wonderful service they are offering to people.
