Hello. Mary Reynolds (born Brophy in 1790) is my direct ancestor (6 generations). She was from County Kilkenny. I will be in Kilkenny in a couple weeks and am interested in seeing her Parish and grave, if they still exist.
Her daughter Mary Holleran (born Reynolds in 1829) is also my direct ancestor (5 generations). I am also interested in her Parish.
Any information and documentation is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and located Mary Reynold's baptismal record in the Castlecomer RC church. Father Michael Reynolds mother Mary Brophy. Date of baptism was April 19 1829. They lived in Moneenroe townland Castlecomer parish.
Mary had the following siblings: Michael 1813 Catherine 1815 Anne 1818 Sarah 1841 NOTE there is a gap in Castlecomer baptismal records between October 1818 and December 1828 so other children were likely born in the gap period.
I did not find the marriage record likely because Castlecomer marriage records start in 1831.
Regarding a baptismal record for Mary Brophy, there are baptismal records in 1784 1785(3) 1790 1791 1793. However, we don't know if Mary Brophy's record is available (many parishes do not have records back to 1790) and we don't know her parents names so we can't confirm a record.
Let me know if you have any questions.

This is great - thank you so much! Mary Brophy (married name Reynolds) had a daughter Mary Reynolds (married name Holleran). From what I am seeing, the daughter Mary Reynolds was born April 19, 1829 in Castlecomer. Is there by any chance a baptism or christening record for her?

Kat:
Mary Reynolds was baptized on April 19 1829 at Castlecomer. Likely she was born a few days earlier. This link takes you to the parish register baptismal entry. https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000635329#page/72/mode/1up

The record in question is on page 72 halfway down on April 19. For 1829, this is a good register asyou go from left to right you have the parents names, sponsor names and where they lived Moneenroe. Make sure you hit the button twice to magnify the image.
