Looking for information on the above mentioned John Joseph Sinnott. 

He was born 1865 or thereabouts in Kildare.

i believe his father was John Sinnott and mother was Mary ..... 

But I'd like to confirm with a record of baptism or suchlike.

    On the subscription site Roots Ireland, I located a July 10 1864 baptismal record for a John Synnott with father John Synnott and mother Mary Campbell. The baptism was in the Curragh Camp RC church. John Sr. was in the military. The baptismal record shows 84th which I assume was a Regiment.
