Looking for information on John Fitzgerald, son of Mary Long and Michael Fitzgerald of Croom. Baptized at St Mary's 10 Apr 1855. John had 4 sisters Mary, Margaret, Catherine and Bridget. All 4 went to New York in the late 1880's. It is said that John became a miller and I believe he stayed in Croom or other places in county Limerick.

I think I located John in the 1901 census. He was a boarder but listed as a miller. His age was 36 so he considerably lowered his age.

I did not find John in the 1911 census. There were 186 John Fitzgeralds in the 1911. None of them were a miller.
