Were there any passenger list of people leaving Ireland to the States? Im looking for a James Lane who was married to Mary Ann Moran. I believe they both came seperate to Boston. I havent been able to find what town they came from in ireland. James father was James Lane and Mary Walsh. He might be from County Louth. He was married in Boston in 1836. Thanks for your assistance.

I first searched the subscription site Roots Ireland for a baptismal record for James Lane with the parents listed but did not locate a record.
Very few records are available for ships leaving Ireland in the 19th century. We usually suggest that people search for records in the new country
DNA testing might generate some leads on your Lane family in Ireland.
