Hi Alice,
I can understand your frustration. Firstly may I ask where you have gotten your information about Edward P Galligan from? I haven't been able to find a Danesbridge listed as a townsland or as a place on the map of Ireland. So I think if we can start there and see where it takes us.

I had a problem connecting Edward with his parents with the information give, however when I looked at the online written copy of his baptism record I believe the following is correct.
Edward Galligan
Baptism May 8th 1807
Father: Peter Galligan. Mother: Margaret Keogh (not Reagh)
Sponsors: Patrick Dolan and Catherine
If I find any other information I will pass it on here
