In a 1898 report of a funeral of Patrick Hynes of Woodfield attendees included P Rochford and M Rochford, both of Tulla. These were likely relations of Patrick on his mothers side - she was Bridget Rochford.
I have very little information on Bridget Rochford and am hoping for some help - perhaps linked to the two funeral attendees.
Rochford family sources say the family came from a place named Clondulla or Cloondulla in Clare. I have been unable to find any place that matches this or is similar to it. Perhaps its a placename, a farm or house within a townland.
Any help appreciated.

Liam,
There is a townland named Cloondanagh in the parish of Tulla. No Rochford name recorded in the 1901 Irish census
for that townland.
Do you have the marriage record of Patrick Hynes and Bridget Rochford? What part of England did Patrick die in?
Quite a number of Rochford's recorded in the 1901 census for Mid and East Clare www.nationalarchives.ie/census

McCoy, thanks for the quick response and the info provided.
Cloondanagh has been suggested but as you point out no obvious Rochford connections - I checked Griffiths and Tithes as well.
I suspect that Clondulla is a local place name in Tulla parish rather than a townland, hence my posting the query.
Patrick Hynes died in Woodfield in 1898 and the funeral was to Broadford.. Patricks wife was Mary Fennessy of Lacarrow.
Bridget Rochford was Patricks mother. Her husband was Edmund 'Ned' Hynes of Woodfield.
The challenge is to find info on Bridget who was born in the early 1800s, married in the mid 1820s and had a large family in Woodfield - all before the existing parish records begin.
