Hi all - I am looking for information on my family (surname: White). My great great grandparents, James and Ellen White (maiden name Donovan), lived in Clonakilty (Kilkerranmore?) with their children Timothy, Mary Catherine, Edward, Bridget, William, and Ellen. James White would've been born around 1854 and Ellen White around 1861. We have census records from 1901 listing all members of the family living in Gortnagereagh / Kilkerranmore. Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of where I might find any more info on them in this area / parish? I would also love to find where they are buried - we have a picture of the gravestone but no leads on locations.

    I found both James and Ellen's death orbits   -    

    There is a James White, Kilkerranmore, Clonakilty on the local newspaper The Irish Examiner whose death orbit states he died on July 17,1963 and is buried in Ardfield Cemetery.   His wife Ellen died in June 1940.
