  • Des, Subscription site www.rootsireland.ie has a record of the marriage of a Thomas Quin to Anastasia McGrath on April 7th 1842 in the RC church of Kill, Co. Waterford. Witnesses: Maurice Flynn and Mary Flynn. Nothing further. A Thomas Quin is recorded as being baptised in Kill on February 11th 1843. Father: Thomas Quin and Mother: Catherine McGrath. Baptismal Sponsors: Michael Quin and Mary Flynn. Other names associated with baptism - William 1846 to Michael 1854 with similar parent names as the marriage record. A check of the church record for Thomas in 1843 shows that his mother is "Catherine". She may have a double name? You can access those records for free on catholicparishregisters@nli.ie National Library Kill is in West County Waterford on the R681 - Bunmahon to Waterford road, East of Dungarvan on the coast line. Please note thatthose records may not be of your family. Regards,
