Hi,
I need help to search for the parish records for my ancestors who were born in Ireland but left for UK around 1850, the names are:
1. Andrew Barry (born 1827, Ireland)
2. Andrew's mother, Catherine Barry (born 1803)
3. Andrew's wife, Mary Barry( born 1826)
We think they will be from County Cork but not 100% sure.
Thank you

dbarry: I searched on two different sites and did not locate a marriage record for an Andrew Barry to a Mary. I also did not find a baptismal record for an Andrew Barry with a mother Catherine. Very likely the family was from Co. Cork since Barry is mainly a Co. Cork surname. Can I suggest that you test your DNA by taking a standard DNA test. You may get matches on your Barry line with 3rd or 4th cousins. Possibly these matches may have more knowledge on where your family was from in the county. I would avoid the Y-DNA test since that test strictly searched your pure paternal line and goes back more than 200 years. A standard DNA test is more beneficial. Roger McDonnell
