I am looking for any way to find information on a Faherty Pub on William Street. Ancestor Matthew Faherty is listed as the "Publican" Pub owner on his probate. Later find John Faherty, My G Grandfather, running a Pub on William St or Henry St, with brother Timothy as the bookkeeper.
Thank You,
Judy Heaton

Judy,
Subscription site www.rootsireland.ie has a baptism record for the following with parents Matthew Faherty and Mary King of William Street:
Patrick - February 7th 1827, Honor - October 12th 1828, Thomas - December 19th 1833.
No record found for a John with those parents.
There is a record of a Matthew baptised February 21st 1840 to a John Faherty and Ellen Faherty. Address: Henry Street. Attached.
Those records can be accessed at catholicparishregisters@nli.ie - Rahoon

A Faherty's Pub in Galway is mentioned here: https://www.kennys.ie/old-galway/1887-dredging-the-docks-1963
The article says it was later called Delargy's.

Dear McCoy and Patricia,
This is such valuable information, and the article Patricia is so amazing. Thank you so very much. I will add this to my research and continue the hunt for my family! Thank you so very much.
I also got an email from irelandxo today that had information about an "Ancestors Masterclass. Would that be a good place to put what information I have about my family?
Grateful for your help!
