I try to connect these HUGHES buried in Ballymoreen graveyard near Littleton, Co. Tipperary to my gggrandmother Anne KENNEDY nee HUGHES b. abt. 1848 in Ballybeg, Littleton, Co. Tipp., d. 1920 in Tramore, Co. Waterford, Ireland.

Her father was Matthew HUGHES b. abt. 1814, d. 1908.

From the research results below I think that Matthew’s father was William HUGHES b. unknown, died after 1819 and before 1871, the Civil Death Records of Ireland.

Father of William HUGHES was Hugh HUGHES b. 1719, d. 1797.

His sister Mary BULBRIDGE {BURBRIDGE} nee HUGHES, b. abt. 1772, d. 1819

His daughter Anne HUGHES {further informations in ground}

See link for Ballymoreen Headstones inscriptions: https://tipperarystudies.ie/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Ballymoreen%20Me…

My conclusion from these Headstone inscriptions:

Anne HUGHES b. 1723, d. 1759 is the younger sister of Hugh HUGHES b. 1719, d. 1797. Anne was married with unknown LESTER. Not in the Dioc. Marriage License Bonds.

Her son Thomas b. 1743, d. 1800 probably marr. 1774 Elizabeth PRIOR, see Diocesan Marriage Licence Bonds.

Hugh HUGHES (1719-1797) was married with Anne CHURCH (1735-1814), not in the Dioc. Marriage Licence Bonds.

The son of Hugh HUGHES and Anne CHURCH was most likely William HUGHES. I guess that John CHURCH was the father of Anne HUGHES nee CHURCH.

There is an entry from 1839 to 1844 in the Estate Rentals for Ballabeg: John CHURCH now William HUGHES, see Tipperary Studies, Valentine Maher, Turtulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Estate Rentals, 1839-1843, part 1, page 15.

Is there somebody having connections to these HUGHES from Ballybeg, Littleton, Co. Tipperary? Or has somebody a family line connected to the in-laws mentioned on the Ballymoreen Headstones?
