My ancestors William Hayes and Mary Navin (Nevin) were married in Cashel. Their first child Thomas was baptised 21 Oct 1855 at Boherlahan and the residence is shown as Knockanree Boherlahan. Can anyone give me information about Knockanree - was it a village or property?

It appears that the name refers to a rural area within the parish of Boherlahan. I have not found it on any map as a townland or sub-townland. On attached there is a reference to Ballytarsna townland which may be of assistance, as it refers to Knockanree.

Thank you. A rural area makes sense as William Hayes was a Shepherd.
