Hi my great great Grandparents weree William O'Brien and Mary Rooney. Looks like they were married in 1866 in Dunslaughin and then took the big ship in 1855 to settle in Wisconsin USA. Does anyone know if I can confirm the marriage and their hometowns? O'Brien marrying a Rooney probably happened daily! I am trying to find their home towns....
Thank you

OBS,
This is the link to the marriage record for Mary and William in 1866 https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_re…. This contains alot of relevant information and is freely available at www.irishgenealogy.ie. Attached is a possible birth record for Mary from the paysite rootsireland.ie. The addresses are given on the marriage record above and the marriage probably took place in the home parish of the bride. There was no other suitable birth in Dunshaughlin.

OBS,
Judging from the photo on their webpage, I suspect there is a new church in use. There may be ruins of a church and an email to the parish may help shenrypp@dcparish.ie.

The Church is now the village library for Dunshaughlin. Just across the street from the new church
