My ancestor ,born Naas about 1795, joined British Army in 1817, discharged 1838 on a pension with ,poor health.
His wife was Rose Bermingham.I have located their children,one of whom Ellen, came as a free settler to Tasmania in 1838.
Several descendants claim Peter came to Australia and died here.I find no record of him as a passenger..
Any information about the family appreciated.I have tried FMP, Ancestry and Ancestry Library without success apart from Military records.
