Hi there - I have death certificates for my Great great grandparents, William Brady and Susan Boyle, who married at Duneane RC Chapel in 1855.
I’ve looked in Cargin Chapel graveyard on a visit some years back, but can’t find a headstone or plot for them. I’m wondering if they may have been buried at Moneyglass Cemetery instead?
William Brady - died 1892 Ballylurgan, Duneane
Susan Brady (Boyle) - died 1877 Ranaghan, Duneane
There’s also a rumour that Susan Brady (Boyle) may be buried in a Boyle grave, along with her daughter Elizabeth Keyland, if this helps…
Does anybody local have the time to do a quick search at Moneyglass for me please?

It’s possible the family were buried in Moneyglass, and also Cranfield graveyard is another possibility. However I see from Williams death certificate that he was a labourer. In the 1800s most labourers couldn't afford a gravestone and so a strong possibility is that he is in an unmarked grave. That was very common.
That said, I live fairly near Moneyglass and will look there next time I am passing.

I called at Moneyglass graveyard today. Sadly I did not find your Brady/Boyle/Keyland grave.
The graveyard is pretty well kept but there are a few gravestones that are now illegible and a couple have been dropped face down for safety reasons so they can’t be read. But I was able to read most of them.
