Freeman Woodward (or maybe Francis) was born in Cloghprior ca 1755. He married Mary Biggar Dublin in June 1797 and fathered George and Rebecca.  Letters of admin were granted to his widow in Dublin in 1824. I am keen to find further information about him.

  • Helen,

    Information from Ancestry

Freeman and Mary had another child Johanna born in 1807. I found a 1794 record of weavers in Dublin. A Freeman Woodward was on it. He was living on Baggot Street, Dublin.

Per a tree on Ancestry, Freeman's parents were William Woodward (1729-1813) and Rebecca Rogers (1730-1815). They were married in Ballynavin, Tipperary in 1751. They had 9 children.

  • Hi Mary

Is it possible for you to give me more information about the 1974 record of Weavers in Dublin where you found Freeman Woodward's name?

I have been unable to find it.

    Thanks Helen
