well... since my last time, I was looking after Armagh and Moydow Parish records... and I found another son to James Higgins and Mary or margaret Devlin called Francis.. so, trying to go further, II found a baptism record of Margaret Devlin, daughter of Francis Devlin and Ann Farrell, same parish, and other daughters, siblings of my Margaret ( photo below).I know that I can call myself lucky enough to be willing to find so many ancient records... but still I want to try to find something more about this family... anything that can help me to fulfill other aspects... there is a Reverend Francis Devlin, same place, but I could not access to other records where the information is... if you can help or lead me to where I can find something else, I will be very theankful

     In Griffith’s Valuation of Co. Longford in 1854, there were 11 heads of household called Devlin (Develan). One, in Derrymore, was named Francis Devlin. In all, there were six Devlins in Derrymore townland.

  • In the tithe applotments in the 1820s, there were ten heads of household named Develin in Derrymore townland:
