My great-grandmother, Katie Farrell, was born and raised in Clonfad (Dalystown/Tyrrellspass area). My grandmother, Marie Gregory Sheridan, and her sister, Leocadie Gregory O'Brien, lived there for five years: 1899-1904.
Katie was one of seven children. She seems to have been close with her brother, John Farrell.
I have been able to trace census records to the mid-1950s. It seems that John's son, Patrick, and his descendants, lived in the same place. Patrick and his wife, Katie Bradley, had four children: John, Bernard, Patrick Joseph, and Elizabeth.
I am wondering if any Farrells still live in Dalystown, Tyrrellspass, or anywhere nearby.

Hi,
Your post led me to believe that Katie Farrell was Marie Gregory's mother. But a look at the 1901 census shows that Marie (and her sister) were nieces to the head of household. Katie, 18, was a daughter. So Katie and Marie were cousins.
