I am looking for information on my Great grandmother Bridget Conway, and her siblings  who was in ballyhaunis area and I am looking on Great great grandmother Bridget Garvey, her parents and siblings

    It would be helpful if you provide some dates. Do you know any of her sibling names? Did Bridget leave the area. Is Bridget Garvey her mother's name?

    On RootsIreland (paid subscription), I found a Bridget Garvey, father- James (farmer), marrying Walter Conway, widower, farmer, father- Pat (farmer), in Ballinrode (25 miles from Ballyhaunis) in 1889. Children- Patrick 1890, Honor 1891, James 1893, William 1894, and Mary 1896. No Bridget identified.

    Bridget Conway of Cregmore, Ballinrobe died at age 31, in 1896. Her husband Walter was there. The dates on the census might be wrong i.e. William (in the 1911 census, the date is closer to birth date). Walter probably married again. Are you sure your Bridget's mother isn't Mary??

    Before marrying Bridget Garvey, I think Walter married Mary Henaghan in 1887. She died in 1887.

  • On Irishgenealogy, the Walter who married Mary H(M)eneghan father was James not Patrick so not the Walter mentioned above.

    Per Irishgenealogy. In June, 1900 a Bridget Conway was born to Walter Conway and Mary Tierney.

    I am not sure why Bridget does not show up on the 1911 census? I haven't found a death record. Am I looking at the wrong family??
