Annie Forkan : Short Biography

When Annie Forkan was born on March 9, 1876, in Kiltimagh County Mayo, Ireland, her father, Michael, was 39, and her mother, Bridget, was 36. She married Matthew Edward Foy, who emigrated in 1892 from Swinford Township. in 1900. They had 11 children in 19 years. She died on May 14, 1937, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the age of 61, and was buried in Yeadon, Pennsylvania.
