According to a son's marriage record, Bernard McQuillan and Mary Neason were his parents. Absolutely nothing is known about Bernard beyond his name, which was only discovered in late 2019. His wife was born in 1789, so we assume he was born circa. 1785 and that he died between 1834 and 1850, possibly in Ireland before his wife and children emigrated.
