Daniel John O'Sullivan was born 1859 In Tralee, Kerry, Ireland. He had brothers Maurice and John O'Sullivan who with Daniel emigrated to Australia in the late 1800's.
Daniel married Catherine "Kate" Flynn or Finn and they had 8 children. The children were Maurice, Ellen, James, Thomas, Patrick, John, Margaret and Martin. Patrick, Margaret and Martin O'Sullivan all died at young ages. The family lived in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. There are records which indicate that Daniel worked for Railway Workers and Labourers Association as a clerk. He is mentioned in two New South Wales Police Gazettes reports for different events of which he was not the offender.
Daniel John O'Sullivan died in 1926 or 1928. There are conflicting records of the date. The record which is linked to this profile states 1926 as death year but Sydney Cemetery Transcriptions record has the date as 30 Nov 1928.
Daniel is buried in Rookwood Catholic Cemetery in Cumberland in New South Wales.
