Ellen was a much loved grandmother to my father, his siblings and cousins. At some stage some of the O'Sullivan family moved to Cork city and there Ellen met her scottish "husband" William Stewart who had his own confectionary business. William had previously been married to her sister Mary. Ellen and William emigrated to Dunedin, New Zealand on the Trevallyan, which they probably boarded in Liverpool.
We have found parish record search results, all from Castleisland, for the following siblings of Ellen who are Children of Florence O'Sullivan and Ellen Brosnan. Nora and Mary chr Jan/Feb 1848, Michael chr 8 Oct 1850, Ty chr 2 Sep 1852, John chr 24 Sep 1855, Florence 18 chr feb 1857, Thomas chr 29 Apr 1858, Terence b 5 Jul 1859, Julia 30 Aug 1862 and my great grandmother Ellen b 15 Sep 1860.
