My great grandfather (3rd), James, son of James Fitzgerald and Mary Reidy - was born in January 20, 1805, in Gortshanafa, Killarney, Kerry, Ireland. He was baptized on this day by John Sullivan. He migrated to USA (New York) sometime before 1837, as that is when his first child was born in New York. Wife Lucy Fitzgerald. Four children from oldest to youngest, the youngest being my grandmother of whom I hold her first name, too: Charles, Mary Ann, Katherine, and Angeline Elizabeth.
