John McCullough b. about September 1805 in County Down is my great great grandfather. He married and had 3 children that I know of: James b. 1834, Sarah Jane b. 1836 and Robert b. 1838. His first wife, whose name may have been Mary Morrison or else something different, obviously died before he and the children arrived in their final destination in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada in 1849. I have a family Bible where notations are written by Sarah which mention that they had lived in Banbridge/Banbridge area and then initially came to Cobourg, Ontario, Canada in approximately 1843. His tombstone says that he was a native of County Down. From his second marriage registration, his parents were James McCullough and Isabella Coates.
