John St John : Short Biography

John St John was born on December 6, 1840, in Tipperary, Ireland. (His parents were not Thos and Alice Keating, as a document that gives a baptism in 1846 to those parents also gives John's year of birth as 1846.) This John's parents were Edmond St John and Judith Brien. (His mother was not Margaret Swift who was also a wife of Edmond St John.) This John St John married Margaret Gleeson in 1874 in his hometown. They had eleven children during their marriage. A son they named William Patrick St John. John enlisted in the military, but his service, if any, remained unknown as of 2020. (His year of enlistment could not have been in 1880, as a document that gives that year also gives John St John's age as 20.) John St John died in 1896 in Tipperary, Ireland. He was a coal miner who died of Pneumonia. His gravesite may be in Ballingarry Parish (Slieveardagh), County Tipperary.
