We believe that Letitia Hewitt was born in Longford County.  She married John Walsh there in 1803.  He was born in Longford County in 1782 and died there, leaving Letitia a widow with 10 children.

John Walsh married Isabella Hicks on 2 Jan 1834 in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Canada.  She was born in 1807 in County Westmeath, Ireland. He seems to have been the earliest of this family to arrive in Canada.  Another John Walsh, named Sr, preceded him.

William Walsh married Hannah Gardiner in 1832 in Ireland.  She was born in 1813.  They settled in the Bearbrook area of Cumberland Township, Ontario, in 1837.  George Walsh married Elizabeth Quirn in Ireland in 1838. He arrived in Bearbrook in 1840.

Richard Walsh married another Irish immigrant in Bearbrook in 1838: Eleanor Moffatt, daughter of Samuel Moffatt and Mary Connor, born 8 Mar 1818 in Ireland.  They settled in Bearbrook that same year.  Alice Walsh died in Ireland 18 06 1815.

Letitia Walsh married James Murphy in Ireland.  They arrived in Bearbrook, On, in 1840.  Robert Walsh married Mary Tanner in Ireland in 1841.  They arrived in Bearbrook in 1848 with his mother, Letitia (nee Hewitt) Walsh.  

Eliza Walsh married another Irish immigrant, John Moffatt, son of Samuel Moffatt and Mary Connor, in 1843 in Cumberland Township, Ontario.  He was born 14 Feb 1820 in Ireland.  Mary Ann Walsh married James Leitch in Ireland.  She died there in 1849.

Joseph Walsh died in Sorel, Quebec, Canada in 1835.
