Margaret Meskill (Meskell) married Thomas Naish (Nash) August 16, 1852 at Askeaton-Ballysteen RC.

3 children were born in Askeaton; Thomas Nash in Nov 1854, John in May 1856; and Michael in May 1860.  Other children including my great grandfather Richard Nash, were born in Watervliet, Albany, NY in the 1860s.  Margaret and Thomas Sr had twins born in 1869 per the Watervliet, NY parish records however Margaret and the twins were not in the 1870 census so they presumably died in 1869/1870.  Thomas Sr was listed in the city directories up to 1876.  Presumably he died 1875/1876 in Watervliet, Albany, NY, USA.

I have never found immigration records but based on the baptismal records in Watervliet, they arrived about 1862.  I believe her mother was also named Margaret and came to Watervliet at a later date.  She had a brother named Michael who was born about 1844 in Ireland and died in the 1880s in Watervliet, NY.  He married a Margaret Carney (born Feb 1854 in Limerick) in Watervliet in 1867.  The brother Michael was sometimes referenced as "Jr" so not sure if Michael and Margaret's father was also named Michael.  NY state death records are sparse or non-existent during this time period so finding out death dates is problematic unless the church death records survive which in this case do not.
