My Great Grandmother Mary Anne lived in Ohill Drumlish,County Longford. In the photo is also my Great Grandfather John Murphy. They had 9 children.
Thomas and Michael stayed in Ireland on the family farm
James and Mary Ellen went to New York, sadly Mary disappeared on her way from work in NYC and was never seen again.
John Joseph and Andrew died as babies
Bridget and Elizabeth went to England
John Joseph (name reused) we know was born in 1914 but we have found no record of him since except that he lived into adulthood.
only 3 of these children had children of their own and they now live England and in Ireland.
