She departed Plymouth on the ship Pemberton on 24 Jan 1849 arriving In Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on the 14 May 1849. Aged 14 putting her birth year abt 1835. Parents unknown. Occupation Nursemaid.
She married Henry Wells, an Englishman, in Melbourne about 1851 and settled in Victoria. She had 5 children with Henry. Henry was quite a bit older he was born in 1815. Henry died 28 July 1852 in Mortlake, Vitcrtoria.
After being widowed she remarried Joseph Wackett in 1863 and had 6 more children.
She lived in Country Victoria around Camperdown most of her life in Australia. She died in Brunswick 16 Aug 1925 aged 90.
