Mary Horan was born June 27, 1848 in Cloghane, Kerry, Ireland. She was the 5th of 8 children of Patrick Horan & Mary Tuohy. Se married Michael O'Gorman in the early 1870's and immigrated to the USA settling in Bayonne, New Jersey. They had 9 children. She died on April 17, 1932 from a stroke at her home on Story Courtin Bayonne. She was buried at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City, New Jersey on April 19, 1932.
